Ponciano Ortiz

Ponciano Ortiz, 56, of Aurora, IL passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 19, 1964 in Mexico, the son of Apolonio and Asencion (Lerma) Ortiz.

Ponciano was a wonderful and helpful person. He had a huge heart, the strongest spirit and would help anyone that needed him. 

He is survived by his wife, Maria; three children, Eric Ortiz, Edgar Ortiz and Katie Ortiz; 2 grandchildren, Ian and Roman; 4 sisters and 1 brother and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family will be receiving guests Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery.  Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora.
