Elmer D. Ritke

Elmer Ritke, 94, of Aurora, IL passed away on January 16, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1928 the son of Anna and Reinhardt Ritke. Elmer's values of hard work were evident in the way he led his life. His appreciation for life, kindness toward others, and devotion to his family were values he shared with others.  Elmer always said "life is a precious gift that should never be taken for granted," Husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, you will be very much missed and always loved.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Beverly A. Ritke; brother, Walt Ritke; children, Mark Ritke, Mike Ritke, Gary Ritke, Brian Ritke, Greg (Barb) Ritke, and Patricia (Scott Fox) Grosskopf; grandchildren, Brad Ritke, Cara (Nate) Watts, Erika (Matt) McGregory, Aaron (Nicole) Grosskopf, Ashley Corral, and Melissa Ritke; great-grandchildren, Carter Ritke, Giselle Solis, Eli McGregory, Weston McGregory, Giuliana Corral, and Nora Watts.

Family will be receiving family only on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. Service and Interment will be private.
