Donald M Armstrong

Donald M Armstrong, 84, of Montgomery, IL, and formerly of West Virginia, passed away on January 30, 2023. He was born September 6, 1938 the son of Glen and Frankie Armstrong. Don enjoyed camping, fishing, shooting pool, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Amvets Post 103, VFW, Sheridan Rod and Gun Club, and was an Army veteran.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jennie Armstrong; children; Robert "Bob" Armstrong, Curtis "Curt" (Teresa Nilles) Armstrong and Ramona "Mona" Armstrong-Weber; Grandchildren, Bradley (Amy) Schierbaum, Chloe Armstrong, Hannah (Mario) Quintana, Monique (Ben) Koehler, and Maxwell Weber; great grandchildren, Knox, Josie, Kinsley and Benjamin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Frankie Armstrong; and brother, Roger Armstrong.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment is private.
