Carolyn Martin (Ervin)

Carolyn Martin, formerly Carolyn Ervin, 69, of Sandwich, IL and Montgomery, IL passed away on November 17, 2021. She was born on September 26, 1952 in New Albany, Mississippi the daughter of John and Juanita (Strawn) Liddell. Carolyn began nursing school at an older age and eventually became a nurse. She loved cooking and especially enjoyed making her son Kevin’s favorites; fried chicken and Alaska Salad. She had a soft heart for animals and adored her cats. Above all things in life Carolyn found most of her enjoyment spending time with her beloved son and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Melanie) Ervin; grandchildren, Matthew and Jessie Ervin and former husband, Doc Ervin.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Martin and sister, Sara Couch.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 s. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
